It’s a Weasley reunion! Bonnie Wright and Rupert Grint reunite at premiere of “Snatch”

We all love hearing stories about how close the actors and actresses of Harry Potter are outside of the movies. It pretty much makes us believe that those characters are real and that Harry and Hermione are actually best friends in real life. That’s normal right? Anyways, what’s great to see for Harry Potter fans is when cast members reunite. It’s been about 6 years after the premiere of the last Harry Potter film, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, and although there’s been a large amount of Harry Potter events taken place all over the world in the last 6 years, there’s nothing quite like a cast reunion to get our fandom obsession going!

Last night (Thursday, March 9), two of our favorite redheads Bonnie Wright and Rupert Grint, aka Ginny and Ron Weasley, reunited at the premiere of Grint’s new TV show Snatch (hmmm, that’s pretty close to “snatchers” Rupert, you sure you don’t want to relive you’re Harry Potter years again?) First off, how great is it to see Grint in action again? Honestly, I feel like it’s been awhile since I’ve seen him in anything. Last thing I remember seeing him in was that odd music video for “Lego House” by Ed Sheeran. Great song, interesting music video… Anyways, you go Ron! I mean Rupert… or do I…

But forrizzle, it was so great seeing two of the Weasley siblings reunite! We all wish we could be apart of the Weasley’s and if you’re disagreeing with me…. just don’t because you know I’m telling the truth! They were the best siblings. You get the two badass oldest siblings, Bill and Charlie, the know-it-all, Percy, the funny-ass twins, Fred and George (RIP Fred ): ), our bloody hell Ron, and the badass girl Ginny. Who wouldn’t want to be apart of that family?

Harry Potter reunions are a small slice of the Harry Potter life that we are holding onto for dear life. A couple days ago, Emma Watson might have given the world the greatest news since sliced bread. She told Entertainment Tonight that her and a majority of the main cast have a group text where she invited them to go to the premiere for Beauty and the Beast in Los Angeles. My. Heart. Is. Smiling. Now, sadly, only Matthew Lewis aka Neville Longbottom, who grew into a BABE, and Tom Felton aka Draco Malfoy were able to make the premiere and I don’t believe there are any pictures of them together but I’m just picturing the reunion so that’s good enough for me.

But the fact that they have a group text, maybe that’s how Wright went to Grint’s premiere? Fingers crossed! There’s been so many reunions in the past from this amazing, unforgettable Harry Potter cast and for that, the Harry Potter fandom thanks you. If they all stay connected then maaaaybe this series isn’t over? Yes? No? Maybe that’s just my opinion.
