The books of Harry Potter is where it all started. People fell in love with the first book, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s (Philosopher’s) Stone, and then every book after that. After they made the movie series and then it ended, we couldn’t get enough of Harry Potter! WE NEEDED MORE! There’s been so many ways that Harry Potter has impacted the world and to this day, there is another thing that is being created to make us Harry Potter nerds extremely happy. Are you ready for this?

HARRY POTTER AND THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN ILLUSTRATED EDITION!

Yes Harry Potter fans, we get another way to see our favorite series recreated! Now, this won’t be released until October 3, 2017 but I’m just pretty pumped that this is happening!

As we all know, there are also two other Harry Potter illustrated editions. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, which was released in October of 2015, and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, which was released in October of 2016. At this rate, we should be expecting new illustrations every October! WOO!

But let’s be real, Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets are probably the best two books to ever have an illustrated edition, am I right? I mean you get to see the troll, a unicorn, Lord Voldemort on the back of Quirrell’s head, a flying car, Dobby, Aragog, A FREAKING BASILISK!! Honestly, if you don’t have these edition, you might want to invest in them before Prisoner of Azkaban comes out!

We can all thank Bloomsbury and Scholastic for producing these masterpieces, specifically illustrator Jim Kay who will illustrating Prisoner of Azkaban. Thank you, sir!

As much as Sorcerer’s Stone and Chamber of Secrets are great stories to tell in illustrated edition, Prisoner of Azkaban might top them! We get to see Buckbeak in illustrated form! He’s going to look cooling than ever. And we can’t forget good ole Remus Lupin becoming a werewolf, that should be interesting to see in an illustration. AND OH MY GOD, THE PATRONUSES! Harry produces his first patronus in this book so that’s going to be super cool to see. I CAN’T WAIT!

Is it October 3rd yet?
